It was lunchtime when we arrived, but my spouse opted for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The bacon was crispy, the eggs cooked perfectly, and the hash browns perfectly crisp to her liking. I was very hungry and choose the spaghetti bolognese with meat sauce, which definitely delivered the flavor! The menu is huge and the service is great. This cafe is definitely worth the trip! ”
“ We came to visit our son at EIU. It is family weekend and all of the popular chain restaurants were packed with a wait. We came here based on reviews. I will be honest that when we pulled in the parking lot we almost left because it looked empty. As soon as we walked it we knew it had potential. It is clean and modern inside and smelled delicious. We ordered hot wings as an appetizer and they were great! We also had pancakes, French toast ( best I ever had), fried chicken, brunch burgers, salads and soups. Everything was really good! This will be our spot for every meal when we visit as the menu options are abundant! Austin, our waitress, was nice and attentive. The service overall was fast. I can't say one negative thing or recommend and changes! ”
“ Did not disappoint. Our server was Minka. She was very attentive. The food was great and big portions. I had the senior walleye plate and it was a good size portion. My husband had the chicken fried steak with fries. He said the best one he has had in a long time. The salad was very good. Clean and friendly. ”

That's peanut butter pie. Here's the deal... I will now rate all my future inter-personal relationships on whether or not you like this pie. I have no use for those who do not like this pie. This is THE BEST pie I've ever eaten! I am COMPLETELY full. But, I WILL finish this pie. And, here's the way it needs consumed: Get it with the ice cream. Get it with the coffee. Get it with a fork (because that's what she gave me and it did not hinder my experience one bit.) Enjoy nirvana. ”
